Tribus Duo (Andrew Hall - sax and vocals and Ben Fernandez - piano)... an evening of Jazz, RnB, Blues, Latin and original music all played in their unique Groovy style. Do come along.!!

Andrew Hall - PhD, BE (hons), BMus.
Andrew Hall is a performer, composer, arranger and producer based in Auckland. He has a Bachelor of Music in performance (Jazz Saxophone) and a PhD in Acoustical Engineering. Andrew is proficient on saxophone, clarinet, flute and vocals. He has performed with national and internationally recognised artists at concerts and festivals in New Zealand and overseas. He is a much in demand session player and is currently the lead alto, composer and arranger for the Auckland Jazz orchestra. Andrew currently holds a Research Fellow position at the University of Auckland in the Acoustics team.

Ben Fernandez - MMus, BSc, DCS, PGDMM
Ben Fernandez is a classically trained jazz pianist, composer and arranger based in Auckland. He has a Masters Degree in Music majoring in Jazz performance from the University of Auckland. He also has a degree in Physics and Post Grad Diplomas in Business Management, Computer Science and Travel Management.

Ben has performed at shows and events in over 25 countries and has performed at most of the leading jazz and music festivals in the country. Ben is also an Award winning composer of music for jingles, TV shows and movies. He is an educator and conducts regular workshops on improvisation in New Zealand and overseas.
