Twizel Salmon & Wine Festival

Twizel's 14th annual Salmon & Wine Festival is one of New Zealand's premiere events. It's the time of year when the town of Twizel celebrates local salmon and wine growers by sharing our gifts with the region. The combination of fine wines and delicious local salmon makes this festival unique to New Zealand.

We guarantee a great day in the summer sun! Complimentary sunscreen will be available so bring your sunhat and lawn-chair to enjoy a relaxing family day out listening to the fabulous music as well as entertainment from a fun, roaming busker. And don’t forget to check out the Salmon Sizzle Cook-Off Competition where teams battle to create and share the 'best salmon dish'.
This family-friendly event has loads of food and beverage stalls, face painting, a bouncy castle, playground, eats and treats, and so much more!

Early bird tickets $15 – available online or from Twizel Information Centre (these go into the draw to win a trip for two with Helicopter Line and spot prizes on the day).
Cash only gate sales on the day for $20

Children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult. All ticket entries will receive a festival glass or bottle of water.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the Twizel Promotions Community Fund.
