Wellington Jazz Club Concert

River City Jazzmen, a six-piece Dixieland Jazz Band from Christchurch, will engage you in authentic traditional Dixieland jazz of the period 1917 up through the 1960's, including some numbers you haven't heard played for a while.

The Band members are Neill Pickard (QSM), banjo/guitar/vocals; Michael Fairhurst, trumpet/flugel horn/vocals; Tony Lewis (MNZM), trombone; Allan Hawes, clarinet; David Pitt, bass; and Jerome Raateland, drums.

The Band is in its ninth year of playing together, and they last played for Wellington Jazz Club in March 2017.

Bring friends along to share an evening of fine jazz with fine musicians. Come early to get a good seat.
