6.00 - 7.00pm: Grand Opening. The evening begins with drinks and nibbles as you mix and mingle with fellow booklovers and authors. The Whanganui Mayor, Hamish McDouall, will be officially open the main weekend of the Literary Festival.

Saturday 5 October
10 - 11am: Albert Belz - The Play’s the Thing
11.30 -12.30pm: Ron Palenski - A Sporting chance
1.30 - 2.30pm: Fiona Kidman - This Mortal Boy
3 - 4pm: Paul Cleave - Imagining Crime - the Good and the Bad
Sunday 6 October
10 - 11am: Corey Mosen & Ajax - Conserving Our Kea
11.30 - 12.30pm: Tina Makereti - If not Now, then When?
1.30 - 2.30pm: Leah McFall - Confidentially Speaking

3 - 4pm: High tea with Amber Rose - Tickets $30 each
