Swami Madhuram Puri will play his Indian bamboo flute (Bansuri). This music is based on Indian Classical music (north Indian ragas) and has been used for thousands of years as a healing, meditation music.

We believe that music can change people’s minds for the better. Relaxation and meditative music can create and convey healing vibrations that benefit the listener, regardless of how able-bodied they are. Meditative music acts as a medium to help focus the listener’s mind and gradually helps return the mind to its natural, peaceful state. This calm state of mind is an ideal space to let go of the many obstacles that prevent us from feeling happy, content and fulfilled. For those who suffer from pain, such a peaceful state of mind creates an opportunity to alleviate suffering, helping the sufferer to become ‘a witness of the pain’ rather than ‘the one who is the pain’. This can apply to physical and psychological pain as well as the fear of dying.
