Anthonie Tonnon at the Old Library

Anthonie Tonnon is a songwriter and performer based in Whanganui. He has toured widely in NZ, Australia, the USA and Europe and been shortlisted for the APRA Silver Scroll and the Taite Prize. Interested in immersive show formats, and the fluid boundary between organic and synthesized sound, Tonnon performs with a Synthstrom Deluge - a new electronic instrument designed in Wellington, a piano, and a storied, 1968 semi-hollow body guitar.
