Master Dancer and Choreographer: Antonio Bukhar in Wellington!

This is part of a larger collaborative project initiative " Dance 2020 experience by Antonio Bukhar " For better livelihoods of young stars in the Pearl of Africa."

Coming all the way from Kampala, Uganda to Aotearoa, Antonio is a talented and gifted Dance Hall and Afro Fusion Dancer and a Teacher with a uniquely crafted Hip Hop break dancing style. Antonio comes here to share with us his whakapapa, knowledge and expertise in the roots of Ugandan dance, blending traditional with popular and contemporary Afro Fusion Dance styles.

Whether you are a professional dancer or new to dance, Antonio is offering 4 x dance workshops at the New Zealand School of Dance on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March. Antonio is a creative dance force with exceptional skills that will empower and uplift the heart and soul. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity! All levels welcome.

Get the opportunity to perform live choreo with Antonio! The workshops will build up towards a finale event on Saturday Night at Wellington Museum as part of a moving exhibition/collaboration of live music, spoken word and exceptional dance.

If you attend the workshops, Antonio will be picking out a dance crew of some of the students to perform a live choreography with him at the finale event at Wellington Museum on the waterfront!
