The sacred maunga (mountain) of Ngāi Tahu is Aoraki (Mount Cook).

This is a proud showcase of mahi toi (artwork) by emerging and established Ngāi Tahu artists. It covers a variety of media including weaving, carving, painting and fashion.

The artists are Ranui Ngarimu, Morehu Flutey-Henare, Fayne Robinson, Piri Cowie, Lisa Harding, Corabelle Summerton, Tui Falwasser, Madia Purvis-Manihera, Paula Rigby, Caleb Robinson and Lewis Gardiner.

This exhibition is supported by Creative Communities, Ngāi Tahu Fund, and Christchurch Art Gallery, Te Puni Kōkiri and The Arts Centre.
