In APO Up Close, Associate Principal Second Violin Xin (James) Jin leads an ensemble of musicians through a series of interactive concerts that focus on a special composer, instrument or work. For this concert, we take a deeper look at some of Saint-Saëns’ The Carnival of the Animals.

James will be joined by some fluffy puppet friends from Culture Art Lab, including a pukeko, blue penguin and a swan among others to help tell the story of this fun piece. Also, enjoy some art in the concert hall from local students.
