ASKYA x James Abberley

Producer/singer/songwriter ASKYA blends both Folk and Electronic elements and in this all acoustic show he'll be playing songs he's written the past few years living between Switzerland and Margaret River, Western Australia. His first two singles garnered immediate traction, being placed in multiple top-tier Spotify playlists worldwide. ASKYA was selected by Triple J to play at The Drop Festival 2019, sharing the stage with Angus and Julia Stone among other artists. Having also opened for Passenger late last year, ASKYA is an emerging artist to watch.

The track was born after James became obsessed with the popular Netflix series Vikings. James was born in Adelaide but he now calls Exmouth in the north west of Western Australia home. During his career James has supported some of Australia's finest including Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald, Paul Dempsey, and more recently The Waifs with his newest project (Children of the Tide)
