About Marty:
Marty's career in local government followed 20 years with the New Zealand Police. Marty joined the local government sector in 2005. He believes local government is all about working alongside and serving the community; creating and facilitating opportunities for residents, businesses and visitors within the City. Marty started with Tauranga City Council on 3 September 2018, and he and his wife Clare have made Mount Maunganui their home.
