Join us at Punanga Manu o Te Anau/Te Anau Bird Sanctuary for a very special planting event! We have a vision to establish a butterfly and moth garden at the sanctuary by planting important habitat foods for native butterflies and moths. Help us bring this vision to life by bringing a shovel and doing some digging! Senior Ecologist and Entomologist Brian Patrick will be joining us from Christchurch to lend his expertise and assistance. The whole family is welcome as there will be crafts and kids' activities available plus a yummy afternoon tea.

Part of Conservation Week 2020.
