Daughter of Three is a collation of super 8 footage taken of three dancers, over the past five years. With music by Nick Gudgeon. Movement by Natalie Marie, Laura Beanland-Stephens and Jadyn Burt, Daughter of Three studies the body, the sky and the ocean and contemplates the quiet truth of these spaces.

Claire Esterman is a self-described dance school dropout and self-taught filmmaker. She attended New Zealand School of Dance in 2013 and began capturing movement on analog film mediums in 2014. Her work explores the relationship between the self and the divine, or universality, and is concerned with movement as a vehicle for liberation and a channel for vital energy. Her work has been screened at Ngā Taonga, Museum of Sound and Vision (Pōneke) WORM gallery (Rotterdam, Netherlands) and locally at Allpress Gallery, Studio One Toi Tū and St Paul St gallery. Claire is currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
