Part of the 20 20 Pop Up Concert Series Buddha to Blues features a collection of Canterbury's finest independent acoustic musicians coming together for what promises to be an afternoon of acoustic musical bliss in this East Meets West themed pop up event.

Your host for the afternoon is Scottish born Celtic Soul, Folk blues Singer-Songwriter & Producer Izzy Miller Bell Aka Ma Bell who's guests include Monk Party a father and son duo who perform a blend of Indian and middle east musical influences inspired by the mantric teachings of Sri Chinmoy and played on a variety of world folk instruments. They will be joined by special guest Liam Oliver on Sitar.

Straight from the temples of Kathmandu Aussie Folk-Rock Balladeer Simon Thomas performs original humorous compositions on everything from online dating to the joys of lockdown blues and tantric sex.

Dames Do Dylan revisit some Dylan classics, featuring Izzy Miller Bell, Susan Leigh Grant ( a two time Gore Golden Guitar award winner) with Lynette Diaz and Eileen Reid. They will be joined by Jazz pianist John Bevin.

New Zealand's number one acoustic blues and fingerstyle guitarist Jon Maxim Hooker performs in various collaborations. Ma Bell & The Blue Tones complete the programme bringing together the eclectic mix to end the afternoons entertainment.
