Designed for those who want to engage with friends and family via Facebook and Instagram, but haven't yet figured it out. No need to feel left out - we'll be breaking this down into easy-to-understand segments, building your confidence and getting you started.
This workshop will get you understanding the basics of these two popular social media apps and understanding netiquette. For those who haven't yet set up accounts, we'll do that, then practise making posts, finding people to connect with and how to follow subjects of interest. We'll also learn how to upload photos to your social media accounts.
This course is for those who have basic computer skills. To use Instagram, you need to be able to take photos and navigate the internet on your smartphone. You'll need to be able to access your email during the course so either note your email logon and password to bring with you, or we'll set up a new gmail account during the course to link to your social media accounts. If you have ever set up a Facebook or Instagram account, bring your logon details.
