Haka Māori Cultural Experience

This is a unique opportunity to experience a showcase of authentic Waikato Tainui Maaori art and culture within the internationally award-winning Hamilton Gardens.

Cultural performances by one of New Zealand's leading Kapa Haka groups (Te Pou o Mangataawhiri), taonga puoro performances by Horomona Horo, interactive art & cultural workshops (poi making, haka/weaponry, Maaori visual art, weaving), taa moko (tattoo artists), carvers, waka (canoe) tours on the Waikato River and guided hikoi (walking tours) around the Hamilton Gardens.

Maaori art & craft will also be available for sale direct from the artists. Nau mai, haere mai.
