Our Introductory Hindi 101 course is specifically designed for adults (and older teens) who do not know how to read, write or speak the Hindi language.

Hindi 101 classes begin with learning the Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script, writing and reading practice, and include basic introductory grammar and some conversation. Hindi 102 continues with Devanāgarī (देवनागरी) script reading and writing practice, and with introductory grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. Adults and older teens who already understand and speak Hindi, but who do not know how to read and write in Devanāgarī, may chose to enroll in the Hindi 101 course only.

It is offered this term (Term 3: July-September 2020) on Thursdays from 4:00-5:30pm. Term 3 classes begin on Thursday 30 July 2020 and run for eight successive weeks, with the last class of the Term held on Thursday 17 September 2020. Subsequent classes (Introductory Hindi 102, 103 & 104) will be held in the same time slot during Terms 4 and beyond.

The course fee includes all teaching materials. Individual notebooks for note taking are not provided. Students must bring their own notebooks and pens/pencils.
