Three Auckland singer/songwriters, Brenda Liddiard, Donna Dean and Christine White, share their songs and back stories in a comfortable, intimate setting.
Brenda Liddiard has been writing songs and playing guitar and mandolin since the 1970’s. Her album, Box of Memories, was a finalist for Best Folk Album Tui Award for 2013.
There’s a raw honesty to the lyrics on Donna Dean‘s seven albums For those who prefer a real yarn to fiction, this award winning, internationally recognized singer-songwriter, whose life story is documented in film, tells it like it is.
Christine White has combined the visceral power of melody with a strong back-beat and evocative twang of the guitar to create memorable songs. She will play songs from her latest album, chestnuts from early Auckland days, as well as new songs.
