Matt Hall and Wolfbelly

12 Bar is Christchurch's new home of the blues and New Zealand's only dedicated blues venue.

We've got all the best blues guitar shredders around town lined up to come play at 12 Bar and we're super-excited to have Matt Hall grace the stage. If you've never seen Matt play before we advise you to come along with something to catch your jaw when it drops.

The term WTF might have been invented to describe what this man can do with his fingers. You might have seen Matt around town playing in his blues band Little Kitchen, or maybe in the Elevators or Keenan's Revenge. For his 12 Bar debut he is solo, playing nothing but the blues.

Following Matt Hall, Wolf Belly will take the stage at 10.30pm. Wolf Belly serves up the Blues wrapped in layers of Rock n Roll, Psychedelia and Funk, sauced with the cream of the Mississippi Delta.
