Mirrors - Debut Original Show

After 4 years of playing the cover scene, Christchurch band Mirrors have emerged in 2020 with their own original sound.
Releasing their debut single 'Only You' in May, the hit was met with success and received airplay on national radio. Since then, the duo have released their single "Got This Feeling" and have been working hard in the studio, experimenting cross-genre between Pop/Funk/Soul/R&B.

Mirrors are now ready to release to the world what they have been creating. Come and join us for an intimate evening of Music, discussing the journey so far, inspiration behind the upcoming EP, as well as front row seats to unreleased music being played to the public for the first time.

Joining Mirrors for the evening will be Tarn PK.

Tarn PK released his debut EP ‘Fantasy’ in 2018 with the single “Talk to You” reaching Spotify playlist success on New Music Friday UK, US, NZ/AU, gaining 170k plays. Since moving to Wellington in 2019 to study Commercial music at Massey University, Tarn has released a subsequent single ‘Daylight’ in early 2020. However, creative juices needed recharging and inspiration was found in the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver, and Frank Ocean in creating a new EP of music which was more personal and understated. The first song ‘Serenity’ will be coming out at the end of October as the first song from his upcoming EP – ‘Monarch’.
