Auckland Council and Flava present Flava Urban Beats, featuring P-Money, SWIDT, Emily Muli, Lepani and more...

Flava Urban Beats finds its new home at Hayman Park, right by the train station. This iconic Kiwi summer event will satisfy all your RnB, reggae, soul and funk hunger.

Papakura-born DJ and record producer P-Money is a household name in NZ music. Only a handful of DJs can create a great live mix, produce amazing original songs and knock out main-stage sets of legendary proportions – and P-Money is one.

SWIDT are a two time Tui Award-winning Hip Hop collective from Onehunga. They released their official debut album Stoneyhunga, dedicated to their home suburb of Onehunga, in July 2017.

Church & AP are Church (Elijah Manu) and AP (Albert Purcell) ) - one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Aotearoa’s rich and vibrant music scene.

Their single ‘Ready or Not’ achieved heavy rotate on NZ’s hip-hop and R’n’B stations and featured on UK’s famed BBC Radio 1xtra via taste-making radio presenter and DJ Jamz Supernova.

A multi-instrumentalist, budding producer and redefining singer-songwriter, Emily Muli’s eclectic sound fuses elements of neo-soul, RnB, jazz and her Pacific roots.

Born in Fiji, Lepani moved to Auckland for his teen years. It wasn't until he was 14 that his music teacher discovered he could sing – now discover this huge talent for yourself.
