Neil Billington Band at Capital Blues Club

Blues harp supremo, Neil Billington, returns to Jack Hackett’s with his band, to present a night of driving Chicago blues. He is joined by Deane Hunter on guitar, Ross McDermott on bass, and Roger Watkins on drums, with special guest Cindy Muggeridge on vocals and keys.

Neil has featured in festivals around the country and in Japan, where he has regularly toured and has played with many of New Zealand’s foremost musicians in genres as varied as jazz, blues, rock and roll and country. He has also been a stalwart on the local scene and a longtime performer at the Capital Blues Club.

The blues is his language and to hear his unique harmonica in the musical roots from which so many other styles have evolved is an unforgettable experience.
