Petanque Open Day

Ever wondered what Pétanque is like? Now you have a chance to find out for free.
Gisborne Pétanque is holding an "open day" (alright, it is more of an "open session") when you and yours can come along and find out more about the game.

This is intended to be a fun evening - nothing serious, no competitions organised, just come and enjoy yourselves.

Pétanque can be played by anyone who is able to stand and throw a ball - any age. No special clothing is required other than suitable footwear as the surface of the piste is fine gravel.

If you have a set of boules at home, please feel free to bring them but we do have several spare sets for visitors to use.
