Enjoy the Manawatu's beautiful Pohangina Valley on this small group day trip.
We'll explore private Tiro Roa gardens with its hundreds of perennials and well-established trees, and there'll be an opportunity to visit the nursery. Lunch will be a light picnic in the Totara Reserve Regional Park, alongside the beautiful Pohangina River. Guests are welcome to take a short bush walk or to brave a dip in the fresh river water!
In the afternoon we'll be treated to a tasting session at Cartwheel Creamery, a Pohangina producer of great cheeses.
The tour price is $109.00 per person which includes transport, lunch, entry and tasting fees.
Pick up is from 9.00 a.m. with return at approximately 5pm. There are pick up points in Paekakariki, Paraparaumu, Waikanae and Otaki.
Accessibility: The trip is taken in a comfortable 12-seater mini-bus which is not wheel-chair accessible. Assistance is offered for mounting and dismounting the vehicle and walking frames can be safely stowed in transit.
