Silo Cinema: 2040

Silo Park is where you want to kick off your Auckland anniversary weekend. Enjoy the sunset with dinner from one of our top-notch food trucks, and finish up your night lounging on the grass for a movie, projected on Silo 7 from 9pm.

Documentarian Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) explores what the future would look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us. Structured as a visual letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Gameau blends traditional documentary footage with dramatised sequences to create a vision board for his daughter and the planet.

Be sure to pop down early to get a good spot and enjoy the DJ, food trucks and Silo Bar from 5PM. Movie screening will start at 9PM.
