This exhibition by Sue Mac Dougall features a series of encaustic & cold wax art works which are inspired by her journeys from NZ to Greece and back again and the influences of both countries.
Sue has also created a series of works that have been influenced by the Covid-19 lockdown as we stood alone .
Encaustic Wax Art Works which related to myself though to two journeys which form my exhibition. As I journey from NZ to Greece and back again am influenced by both countries. As well as paintings I have development vessels that represent my Greek Mother-in-laws vessels that she would use in every day cooking and baking. Also some for storage of olive oil, olives, capers etc. that she would keep in these vessels.
Launch is Friday 3rd of July at 5.30pm. Come in and gaze at the glorious artwork... be quick they will move fast.
