Teacher PLD: Explore Project Based Curriculum

Education truly is the pathway to opportunity. The Ministry of Education’s vision is that New Zealand young people are confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners. We all want this for our young people – but how do we design a curriculum that truly promotes lifelong learning? In this session we will provide an in-depth overview of Innovative Education Consultant’s Project-Based Curriculum, a comprehensive integrated curriculum that covers the NZC from Year 7 – 10. We will examine the philosophy behind a Project Based approach, and unpack what the curriculum structure looks like at all levels – for a school community, teacher and student.
