Technic Contraptions

Come along to this exciting ninety minute session and explore building with mechanics, electricity and renewable energy. Children will work in pairs to build Technic contraptions powered by both batteries and renewable energy sources. Wind power? Solar power? Muscle power? Where there is energy, we'll harness it!

Students will have instructions to follow for their model, but once they feel confident, we'll give them some extra challenges to improve the design. They'll modify their machine to make it one of a kind!

We recommend this class for students aged eight and over. Younger imagineers are welcome, but an adult will need to accompany them and help out (no extra charge).

This session will be run in the facilitation space (outside the computer labs) on Auahatanga | Creativity (level four).
