This November, Jenny, Nicola & Maegan Mitchell are bringing family harmonies, storytelling & Southern wit to the Wellington Bluegrass Society.

To secure your seat, email bluegrass@xtra.co.nz or phone (04)477 0069. If available, door sales will commence at 7:50pm on the day.

After a sold-out South Island tour, the sisters are heading North to celebrate their recent musical offering: The Grainstore Sessions. Recorded live in Oamaru, The Grainstore Sessions is a live, visual EP.

“Poetry that dominates a beautiful melody. ” - No Depression, USA

Originally from Gore, the Mitchell family have a deep love for the storytelling of country and folk music. Jenny was awarded the 2019 Tui for Recorded Music NZ Best Country Artist and was the first kiwi to be nominated for Alt-Country Album of the Year at the 2020 Australian Golden Guitar Awards. Maegan and Nicola are identical twins with a huge love and respect for musicianship. Nicola will be playing the ukulele on the tour, with Maegan on percussion (the art of finger-clicking is her speciality).

“Jenny Mitchell is going from strength to strength.” - Jesse Mulligan, RNZ
