Re-live the grand old days of Rail Travel on vintage Railcar RM50, which operates rides every half an hour through-out the day. Purchase a ticket and enjoy unlimited rides: Adult $10, Child $5, Pre-schoolers free - Family of 2 A & 2 C $25 - Eftpos available in the Station Shop.
View a working display of Vintage Stationary Engines and browse through the Museum Village including the Printing Works; where kids can enjoy hands on activities!
Visit the Ashburton Fire Museum (entry via cash donation) to view their huge Heritage Collection of the Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade - Fire Engines, equipment, Model Collection, watch history come alive on the big screen, kids can try on a uniform and much more.
Take a unique Miniature Train Ride ($2 p/p - cash only) with thE Ashburton Steam & Model Engineers (find them in our car park area by the Hill).
The Lynn Woodwork Museum (entry via cash donation) and Ashburton Woodworkers Workshop will be open for viewing.
The Popup Playground will have Inflatable fun for the kids, along with their great coffee, hot food & snack caravan. The Combined Craft Group Ladies will be demonstrating handicrafts in our Function Room under the Clock Tower.
Bring a picnic - Ice-creams, cold Drinks and snacks are sold in the Station Shop.
