The Zimmermans

Fresh from their spell in rock and roll rehab the eight men and women who make up this awesome band are ready to strap on their guitars and drum sticks and take the audience on a journey to the land of Dylan. These musos have travelled long and hard to the plains of the Minnesota bard from such sources as the Mockers, Dunstan Rangers, The Wooden Box Band, Let’s Planet and Sneaky Feelings.

Their two hour December show at Meow became a standing-room-only event with the crowd providing rabble rousing choruses to the likes of Rolling Stone and Rainy Day Women. When did you last hear 250 voices chanting “everybody must get stoned”?

Think guitars, drums, keyboards, and horn section accompanying some of the classic and not quite so classic tunes from the pen of Dylan - the man who invented a whole genre of music in the sixties and continues to this day to inspire with his creativity and originality.
