Presentation and screening of the Waikato River Google Street View project & the Waikato Te Awa video project. Both projects were produced as educational resources as part of the Waikato River Festival - He Piko He Taniwha.

The Google Project involved the filming of the entire Waikato River (425km) and is the longest river in the world to be totally filmed from start to finish. The Waikato Te Awa video project follows a journey by waka (canoe) up the Waikato River as described in the well known Waikato Tainui mooteatea (chant) called "Waikato Te Awa".

Light refreshments served.
