Weave a Big Basket - Creative Flax Weaving/Dyeing Workshop

Experiment with weaving, dyeing & decorating ... and create your own BIG basket for storing all sorts of things around your home.

This workshop is suitable for beginner, intermediate and experienced weavers. All participants will have the opportunity to prepare, dye and weave NZ flax/harakeke, and will create their own beautiful BIG basket to take home with them. This basket has a square shaped base and is ideal for home storage.

Beads, feathers and paua shell pieces will be available at the workshop for decorating your basket. Feel free to also bring any other items you wish to use for decorating.
