Good characters are the driving force of a good novel, and getting the reader to care about your characters is the key to writing a page-turner. In this workshop, we’ll take you through a number of exercises and prompts to get you started creating characters for your stories, and try out different techniques that you can use to develop and get to know your characters inside and out. We will also explore the range of tools that you have at your disposal to describe your characters in ways that really bring them to life for the reader.
