Sceptics, cynics and realists collide, nihilism is reborn in Isaac Andrews original production of An Encyclopaedic Instruction. While precarious realities of internet vulnerability confront lies, love, betrayal and trust, in Ace Dalziel’s And They Were Wrong.
Ace and Isaac Productions are back, collaborating with The Ara Collective, to present an evening of thriller, horror, lies and love. After a sell-out season of 2020’s Campfire Calamity, these two have another fantastic event coming your way! This December, Ace and Isaac bring their individual creative expertise and ambitions to the surface with each their own originally written and directed productions.
Isaac Andrews "An Encyclopaedic Instruction" works to debut a completely new genre of theatre. Building upon avant-garde and psychologically thrilling, kitchen-sink realism, we feature an escape room play, the 'instructions' of which, are interchangeable, swapping in and out to appeal to YOU, the audience, and your reactions. Tackling themes of queer identity, and pure existentialism, this one will leave you questioning the very woven fabric of our universe.
Ace Dalziel’s "And They Were Wrong" features themes of technological deceit and the dangers of hidden, online identities. Follow our humble, down-to-earth characters as they navigate a digital world of predatory grooming, discovering one's own identity and defending against the eyes... watching everywhere.
Two aspiring creatives, two transformative, original productions, one event; Double-Bill. Showing at Wellington’s Courtenay Creative, from Dec 15 - 19. Tickets links can be found on Facebook, or above (see Tickets section).
