Bizlink Hawera's annual Winter Festival is on Friday July 30, 2021.

This year the shops will be open late, we'll have some custom made braziers kindly sponsored by Crouchers & Crowder. The Normanby and District Lions will be out helping children roast marshmallows. There will be food trucks, stalls and musicians throughout the streets. (Jonte Van Endhoven, Wilbur Raikes to name a few). Sonic Delusion and Lauren Nottinghaam will perform in the Hawera Town Square.

We are running a silent disco in the Oxygen building (entry from Regent Street) and it is here you will also find giant bubble blowing, free face painting and neon hair spray ups.

The fantastic meat smokers will be back and selling an array of delicious slow-cooked carnivorous delights. More information to come about how and where to get tickets.

There's a pizza eating competition at T&H Betta Electrical (a fundraiser for St John Ambulance Service) at 5.15pm which will be a must-watch event!

How many slices of pizza can you eat in 10 minutes? All intended participants must register by 12 July. Forms available at Rookie Sister Kitchen, Hairs the Secret and T&H Betta Electrical.

Bizlink Hawera supports efforts to stop the spread of COVID 19 so please ensure you track your movements and contacts while at the open-air Hawera Midwinter Festival and be sensible about your health and attendance.
