Lenie Johnson has enjoyed painting and drawing from a very young age. After leaving school she attended night classes at Elam School of Fine Arts. She then worked for department stores on display and ticket writing. Lenie has also travelled extensively, having lived in the US and visited all over Europe. In Europe she soaked up inspiration from some great galleries, especially admiring the impressionist artists.

Portrait painting workshops in New York given by renown artist Daniel Greene gave Lenie the confidence to accept commissions from around the world. She has taught art classes and exhibited in NZ, Australia, and the USA.

Lenie is currently accepting personal commissions and can work from a good quality photograph.
