Earth Day - Conservation Day at Sanders Reserve

Join Conservation Volunteers NZ (CVNZ), in partnership with One Tree Planted, as we celebrate Earth Day at Sanders Reserve in Paremoremo. Nestled along the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour, Sanders Reserve is a fantastic Reserve with great views of the Harbour. CVNZ, working alongside, Sustainable Paremoremo, have been working hard on the restoration of this area over the past few years by planting over 20,000 native trees. These trees need some attention to ensure their survival. Join us on Earth Day to continue the restoration of this area by removing large areas of strangling and invasive weeds to help these trees survive to maturity.

CVNZ will provide all tools and equipment as well as a vegetarian sausage sizzle after the event. We can also provide transportation to and from the event from our office in Eden Terrace. To book or find out more, please contact 0800 567686 or info@cvnz.org.nz.
