The National Youth Pipe Band of New Zealand is a band of 50 young bagpipers and drummers from all over New Zealand, representing the very best young musicians in the country. They are a high performance band that meets 3-4 times per year for intensive training and rehearsals for concerts and festival performances. Their music is stunningly entertaining, but also varied and pushes their boundaries for skill and discipline. This entertaining concert will feature soloists, ensembles and full band performances with guests from around the Canterbury region.
