The National Youth Pipe Band of New Zealand is a high performance band of 50 young bagpipers and drummers from all over New Zealand. They meet 3-4 times per year for intensive training and rehearsals to prepare them for concert and festival performances. Their music is stunningly entertaining which also pushes their boundaries for talent and discipline. This concert will feature soloists, ensembles and full band performances with local guests from the South Canterbury region.
