From Spain to Latin America - A Journey In Music and Poetry

This recital will feature fiery, and at times poignant music from Manuel de Falla & Heitor Villa Lobos. Music and Poetry from Spain and Latin America will be coming to Titirangi. The performers are Natarani, & Sasha Witten-Hannah (cello & guitar, Heartstrings) with poetry readings in Spanish and English by Saray & Ron Riddell. Hispanic composers featured will include Manuel de Falla (Spain) and Heitor Villa Lobos (Brazil). Featured poetry will include work by poets Federico García Lorca (Spain) and Pablo Neruda (Chile). This will be a unique opportunity to appreciate the fire and magic of Hispanic music and poetry in the beautiful setting of Titirangi, Aotearoa.
