Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club - Cycle/Walk Matokitoki Val

Two short (two hour) trips together to make an interesting day, partly on cycle, partly on foot. A bike with wide tyres and low gears would make the Riverside Road to Matokitoki Valley ride easier. Then we will need tramping boots for the Te Kuri Walkway, because it is muddy in sections in the winter.
We encourage people to join a few walks before deciding to become members so you can see whether what we are doing suits your interests. Joining a walk is often a good way of getting to some places which are otherwise not easily accessible, and is a good way to get to know the region.
