About a 7-hour hike including lunch and possibly a swim (bring togs if sunny and/or warm). High country hike - medium to hard, with fairly steep climbs and descents - hiking poles will help. Extra layers and a raincoat recommended to take.

Hiking north to a ridge overlooking the farm buildings, then a descent, before another ascent (weather dependent) to the highest point at the back of the farm. Then back down to the gully where there's a swimming hole, a steep climb up to the overlooking ridge, and a meandering descent back down. Open farmland with good views. Email: danielcobb@gmail.com
