Guru Poornima at Sacred Earth 2021

The auspicious full moon energy in July is a time to celebrate and honour the Guru. It is said to have been associated with the sage Vyasa, who lived 5,000 years ago and was the author of many of the beloved scriptures, like the Mahabharata and the Bhagavatam.

On this night we will celebrate Guru Poornima with a Poornima Havan (fire ceremony), kirtan and bhajan (devotional singing), a shared meal and a fireside Satsang (sharing gathering) around the fire at Tapovan.

This special time is a time were we celebrate our own divinity as revealed by the guru within all of us, and revere the outer gurus who have shaped our spiritual lives.
