A gathering in an ice cave
The effects of climate change are being seen all over the globe, especially in the arctic and polar regions. Ice Block, a multimedia event in Gisborne is calling attention to the great glaciers and ice-scapes that are fast melting and disappearing.
The towering beauty of ice-scapes and ice inspired art will be showcased in visual projections that will fill the venue, a night of premium electronic music and performance art.
Geeez warms up the decks followed by DJose with the straightup house music vibes. Brazilbeat with the dance floor beats and live percussion. Slyone & Stix hit the sweet spot with the dubstep and bass-house. Paws cranks the dnb to take you to the other side. Just announced: Dizfunk and Machinist!
Proceeds from this epic event will go to benefit a cause closer to home, an organization dedicated to ending hunger in our community, Gizzy Kai Rescue.
