Kawerau Arts Society Annual Exhibition

An eclectic mix of over 200 new works by emerging and experienced local artists.

A reflection of our mission to encourage all forms of art and foster creativity from all levels of competency within the Kawerau community.

Featured Club Artist Janice Clifton Wykes will be working onsite with an impressive show of some of her oil paintings.

Local portrait artist Caleb Jeon is the Guest Artist. He will be happy to talk about his unusual process and will be taking appointments to discuss commissions.

Also presentations from Arts Society subgroups such as a hat display from the Steampunk Group, paintings from a still life workshop in oils, and a great lineup of local shots from the Photography Group.

A karakia will open the exhibition at 9.30am on Saturday.

Raffles will be drawn at 2.30pm Sunday and winners will be notified by phone.

Cash purchases can be uplifted at 2.30pm Sunday. Online payments will need to be cleared before purchases can be uplifted.

There are several EFTPOS machines in Kawerau.

A Taco stand will be at entrance along with a few market stalls.

All undercover so weather is not an issue.
