Unfortunately, due to Covid Level 2 restrictions, we have had to CANCEL this event. We will endeavour to run the Sing-in during 2022, so please watch this space!
This will be a wonderful afternoon of music-making, open to anyone who can read a music score and loves to sing. The main music we will learn is the beautiful Vivaldi GLORIA and if time allows we will also look at anthems by Mozart, Handel and Haydn. These pieces are some of the most well-loved chorales in the sacred repertoire.
The workshop will once again be led by Anthony Tattersall, Director of Music at Waiapu Cathedral, and Michael Fletcher, until recently Director of Music at the Catholic Cathedral in Wellington; both men are expert musicians, wonderful organists, encouraging conductors – and fun to work with too!
