MainPower Light Festival

Bigger, Brighter & Better! Experience a light & sound wonderland. Victoria Park lit up over 3 nights with a fairyland of laser lights, neon, disco lights, interactive lighting displays, Glow Toys and more. Plus, on the main night, food, craft stalls, a UV dance floor, licenced bar and kid’s activities including bouncy castles and bumper boats, roving entertainers, live music and an outdoor movie!

Thursday 16th, Friday 17th, Saturday 18th September, Victoria Park, Rangiora.

Thursday 16th and Friday 17th the event will be running from 5.30-8.30. There will be limited food and drink, but all of the lights will be turned on! If tickets sell very well we may we add some extras on the Friday – like the outdoor movie, food trucks, bar and craft stalls.

Saturday 18th the doors open at 5pm, the movie starts at 5.30pm, and the event finishes at 9.30pm. This is the main night, this is where there will be live music, food available, craft stalls and all the attractions available.

Family Movie night – on Saturday 18th Sep come along to an outdoor movie on the huge screen. Doors open at 5pm, movie starts at 5.30pm. When the movie finishes and the sun goes down Victoria Park transforms into a Light wonderland. We may also do a movie on the Friday.

Tickets are $5 per person, under 2s are free, Family Tickets are only $15 (2 adults and 3 children under 16yrs).

Tickets can be used on multiple nights.

There are many new installations this year including – Mirror Balls, 5m Mushroom, Neon Trees, Fairy Light Tunnels and Canopies, Pulsing Arches, UV Dance Area and much more!
