Spend time with mum or grandma exploring the historic homestead (built-in 1863) and garden at Alberton.

Soak up the ambience of the majestic setting over a morning or afternoon tea of light English scones with cream & jam in the grand Victorian ballroom (or on the verandah overlooking the garden - weather permitting). Served from beautiful vintage fine china and antique silverware it a special experience, unique in Auckland.

Tea $9 - includes two scones & tea or coffee. No booking required. Please note that there is a limit on the number of guests that can be catered for per day.

All proceeds support Alberton and Heritage New Zealand in caring for 44 historic properties around the country as well us undertaking the wider work of the organisation in the promotion, protection, preservation and conservation of historical and cultural heritage of New Zealand.
