What do mountain biking legend Anton Cooper, Sir Ed's grandson George Hillary, and Sherpa Ang Tsering have in common? They believe in the power of mountain biking to inspire a new generation into sustainable livelihoods.
The Himalayan Trust has partnered up with Move92 and the Christchurch Adventure Park to raise funds for a new pump track in Phaplu which is a township located within Nepal.
Join us for an evening to learn about an exciting and inspiring initiative that celebrates the long-standing relationship between New Zealand and the Sherpa community in the Everest Region. The event will highlight how Ang Tshering, a young Sherpa in Phaplu with a lifelong connection to Sir Edmund Hillary, is using Mountain Biking as a way to address the immediate needs of his community in addition to creating lasting change for generations to come.
We're now taking individual and table bookings (8 People) to attend the Himalayan Trust Fundraising Dinner.
